Great explanation! One other point to consider is that there are also construction software systems that server certain sectors within the construction industry. For Example: My Company AccuBuild Construction Software is designed Specifically for General Contractors and Sub Contractors within the commercial and industrial sectors and focuses mainly on contractors that do contract or negotiated work for private parties or local and federal governments. There are also systems on the market that focus on mostly service contractors or residential contractors. I guess my point is, The construction industry is a vertical market but there are many sub markets within it. When searching for construction software make sure the package your evaluating is built for the type of work you do.

Hello, I read this post titled "Construction Software?" about a week ago, might have been last Monday, and thought it was a good point. I've been trying for the last few days to find your site again but ended up finding it in Google using the keywords "contractors and businesses". Anyway, I've forgotten what I wanted to post last week but I will be returning regularly. Bookmarked the page.
